Twentytwo in Blue - Sunflower Bean (March 23) by Ava Butera

I’m so excited to hear more of their new music! I love the new direction that they’re going in. All the songs that have been released as singles are all SO GOOD!!

When My Heart Felt Volcanic - The Aces (April 6) by Ava Butera

This one is a huge one for me. I discovered these lovely gals when they released their first EP and i’ve been craving new material from them. I’ve already seen them a bunch of times with COIN and I can’t wait to hear the studio version of the songs they’ve been singing.

I Don’t Run - Hinds (April 6) by Ava Butera

I’ve loved these girls for so long. Everything they do is so cool and fun! I’ve been anticipating this album since I first saw pictures of them working in the studio.

Bark Your Head Off - Hop Along (April 6) by Erica Tello

The single from the band's third album, "How Simple" has been a favorite punk grunge song of mine lately. I'm excited to hear what I hope will be an intimate album since it was self recorded in their hometown of Philadelphia.

Primal Heart - Kimbra (April 20) by Troy Davis

Kimbra’s release some promising singles in 2017 and 2018. Songs like “Top of the World” and “Sweet Relief” show a dynamic shift in tone while still stay true to the sound she’s crafted. With collaborators like Natasha Bedingfield and Skrillex (!!!) getting credits on the album, this is sure to be a standout from an already solid discography. Look out for a FULL FEATURE with Kimbra (written by muah) in early April, and go check out some live shots done by Jackson HERE.

Dirty Computer - Janelle Monae (April 27) by Troy Davis

Miss Monae has been out here releasing bangers for years, but her newest single “Make Me Feel” is a whole other level. When word leaked that her newest album was written with some support from Prince before his death, it became pretty clear that this is something to get excited about.

Can’t Wake Up - Shakey Graves (May 4) by Kyra Bruce

I have been IN LOVE with Shakey Graves for 5 years so I am incredibly excited for this album. Shakey has always been a folk-rock artist, sometimes even a one man band, but “Can’t Wake Up” is going in a different direction based on the newly released singles “Kids These Days” and “Counting Sheep”. A while back Shakey tweeted “Next album. New sound. Throw away your suspenders,” and he wasn’t messing around, the new album is shaping up to be a garage-rock jam! It’s really fun to see an artist change their sound as the years go by and I don’t think anyone does that better than Shakey.

Lost Friends - Middle Kids (May 4) by Erica Tello

Middle Kids were one of my favorite bands I discovered during SXSW 2017, so I am super excited to hear more from the indie Aussie trio. The first time I heard them, I was walking past a conference room in the Austin Convention Center and was captivated by their catchy chorus in "Edge of Town" and  the Hannah Joy (lead singer) on the slide guitar.

Make sure to follow us on IG where we will share our

favorite tunes from each album the day they are released!
