5.29.19: The Sylvee in Madison, WI
Madison concert-goers entered the flow state last Wednesday night with Australian multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana. The night opened with an energetic performance from the Pierce Brothers, a sibling duo who used to busk in Australia with Tash. Their vibrant stage presence set the tone for the night and built energy that continued into Tash’s set.
Tash’s debut album Flow State, released in August last year, is the perfect performance album. Looping melodies, lengthy guitar riffs, and the occasional trumpet solo make for a dynamic concert experience. Tash made sure to connect with every person in the sold-out venue. Despite this being one of the last shows in a long North American tour, Tash delivered boundless energy and enthusiasm to their performance. We’ll be anxiously awaiting their return to the US in September.
